About

David Walker joined Deminor in January 2021 and leads the firm’s litigation funding activities in the UK. His work focuses on sourcing, funding, and monitoring high-value commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on international arbitration and UK litigation. Before joining Deminor, David worked at another leading litigation funder and previously practised in the international arbitration teams at Withers and Arnold & Porter. He has experience representing parties in cases under ICSDI, UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, and LCIA rules.

Main tasks
  • Responsible for the UK market, and head of Deminor’s arbitration practice.
  • Sourcing and assessing litigation funding opportunities in UK commercial litigation.
  • Assessment of litigation funding opportunities in international commercial arbitration and investor state arbitration.
  • Managing funded international arbitration and UK litigation cases.
