Deminor’s Clients Reach Settlement with DAF

Share

Deminor announces that its clients have reached a settlement with DAF in the trucks cartel case. The settlement concerns the compensation proceedings initiated before the Amsterdam District Court following the European Commission’s fining decisions regarding the trucks cartel.

Deminor welcomes this major step forward in the collective action it is financing.

In this matter, Deminor works closely with the transport associations TLV and UPTR, which have supported Deminor’s action from the outset. The associations are satisfied with the agreement, which was concluded through a careful process. It brings a final resolution of the proceedings insofar as they relate to DAF.

No further details about the content of the settlement will be disclosed.

The legal proceedings continue against the other members of the trucks cartel. The interests of Deminor’s clients are represented in court by Koen Rutten and Lars Boersma of the law firm Finch Dispute Resolution.
