About
Irene Lee is General Counsel for Greater China and Southeast Asia at Deminor Litigation Funding and a recognised expert in third party funding in the region. Irene has over 15 years experience in handling complex commercial disputes, international arbitration and contentious financial regulatory work.
Based in the Hong Kong office of Deminor, Irene focuses on (i) finding and assessing new litigation funding opportunities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and South East Asia, (ii) advising and working with clients and law firms on funded cases and (iii) actively participating in the development of Deminor’s activities in the region.
In recent years, Irene has been recognised by, amongst others, Chambers & Commerce, Lexology, Who’s Who Legal, Global Law Experts, the Lawyer Network as leading expert in third party funding in the region.
Main tasks

Based in Hong Kong, Irene focuses on (i) finding and assessing new litigation funding opportunities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and South East Asia, (ii) advising and working with clients and law firms on funded cases and (iii) actively participating in the development of Deminor’s activities in the region.
