Brussels, June 25, 2026 – Deminor Litigation Funding is pleased to announce another year of strong recognition in the 2026 Chambers and Partners Litigation Funding rankings, reinforcing the firm's position as one of the world's leading litigation funders:

  • Europe-wide – Band 1 (retained)

  • China – Band 1 (promoted from Band 2)

  • Litigation Funding: International Arbitration – Band 1 (promoted from Band 2)

  • UK-wide – Band 3 (promoted from Band 4)

Strong Recognition Across Key Markets

The latest Chambers results demonstrate Deminor's ability to support complex disputes across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas.

This year's promotion has been a great result, as our new rankings in China and International Arbitration now sit alongside our longstanding Band 1 position in Europe. This milestone reflects Deminor's growing investment in its international expertise and the firm's ability to support high-value commercial disputes, arbitration proceedings and enforcement actions worldwide.

Furthermore, the firm's UK-wide ranking improved from Band 4 to Band 3, building on the first-ever UK ranking achieved in 2025 and reflecting Deminor's continued growth and increasing recognition among clients, law firms and market participants.

Collectively, these rankings establish Deminor as a Band 1 litigation funder across Europe, China and International Arbitration, while continuing its upward trajectory in the UK market.

Individual Recognition Across the Team

Beyond the firm-wide results, the 2026 rankings highlight the strength and depth of Deminor's team, with several individuals ranked Band 1 in their respective categories:

  • Edouard Fremault – Band 1, China
  • Irene Lee – Band 1, China
  • David Walker – Band 1, Litigation Funding: International Arbitration
  • Charles Demoulin – Band 1, Europe-wide Litigation Funding

Elsewhere, Erik Bomans retained his Band 2 Europe-wide ranking, while Giacomo Lorenzo, Joeri Klein, Malte Stübinger and Paloma Castro were recognised in the Europe-wide rankings for the first time.

These individual rankings reflect the breadth of expertise that Deminor has built across its international platform and the trust placed in its professionals by clients, law firms and market participants.

Independent Recognition from Chambers and Legal 500

The Chambers results follow another year of strong independent recognition for Deminor.

Earlier this year, Legal 500 recognised Deminor as a Leading Provider in its 2026 Dispute Services rankings, with market participants describing the firm as:

  • “One of the strongest funding teams I have had the pleasure of working with.”

  • “Strategic and intelligent investors.”

  • “Deep international and technical expertise.”

Together, these recognitions reinforce Deminor's commitment to supporting clients in complex disputes through a combination of legal expertise, financial resources and international reach.

Erik Bomans, CEO of Deminor, commented:

"We are delighted to see this continued recognition from Chambers and Partners. Achieving Band 1 rankings across Europe, China and International Arbitration is a reflection of the dedication and expertise of our team, as well as the trust placed in us by our clients and partners around the world.

The recognition of so many individual team members is particularly pleasing and demonstrates the depth of talent we have built across Deminor's international platform. We are grateful to our clients, law firm partners and colleagues for their continued support and confidence in our team."
