Utrecht / Brussels – 16 September 2026: Deminor Litigation Funding is pleased to announce that Wouter de Jong has joined the firm as Senior Legal Counsel, based in Deminor’s Utrecht office.
Wouter’s appointment follows the opening of Deminor’s new Dutch office in Utrecht, which provides the firm with a permanent base for its activities in the Netherlands. Located in Central Park, next to Utrecht Central Station, the office marks an important step in Deminor’s continued international growth and the growing demand for its services across the Dutch market.
Wouter will focus on commercial litigation funding in the Netherlands, with an emphasis on one-to-one commercial disputes, B2B disputes, patent litigation and other IP-related matters. His appointment adds depth to Deminor’s Dutch team and adds significant experience across both private practice and in-house dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Deminor, Wouter spent more than eight years as a patent litigator at a leading international law firm. He later spent six years as Head of Litigation at a major international corporate, where he gained extensive experience managing complex disputes from a corporate perspective.

The Utrecht office, opened on 1 June 2026, is Deminor’s tenth office worldwide and provides a permanent base for the firm’s activities in the Netherlands.
