Giacomo Lorenzo

About
Giacomo Lorenzo is currently Head of Italy and Senior Legal Counsel. He joined Deminor in January 2022. With a particular focus on the Italian market, Giacomo actively contributes to sourcing and managing a wide range of cases involving collective actions, commercial litigation, arbitration, intellectual property disputes, antitrust litigation, corporate law, and post-M&A disputes.
Before joining Deminor, he worked as lawyer with the litigation and arbitration department of the leading Italian law firm, Gianni & Origoni. Giacomo holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Lausanne, with a specialization in International Business Disputes, where he now lectures as an external faculty member in the “Arbitration Finance” course within the same LL.M. program.
Main tasks
- Assessment of litigation funding opportunities in international arbitration and commercial litigation.
- Promoting and managing Italian cases in the three core business areas of Deminor: Investment Recovery, Antitrust Damages and Commercial Litigation.
